TIMP RESERVOIR: As friends were crossing the reservoir and I was waiting to be picked up to be taken to the other side, I took advantage of the beauty that I saw and took a shot to get a good example of deep depth.

SOON-TO-BE: This image was also taken at Timp reservoir in Utah. This couple had someone else taking engagement photos and as they were posing I snuck in on the side and got a shot for a deep depth.

RED OCTOBER: This shot was taken at Timp reservoir in Utah. I loved the colors of the tree. Though fallen, I knew I could find a way to get a shallow depth of field with this subject and it turned out quite nicely.

WOOD CHUCKIN’: This final image was also taken at Timp reservoir in Utah. With an overcast day in the fall it was impossible to not be amazed by the beauty of the green and brown of this dense forest near the reservoir. Fallen trees were all around and made it easy to play around for a shallow depth of field.
